I. Data Collected: By Customer Type

​We collect different types of data based on your relationship with NKAYLA.

Retail Customer (General Shopper),
Purpose: To process and fulfill orders, manage payment transactions, and provide marketing communications (if consented). 
Types of Data Collected: Identity & Contact: Name, Email Address, Shipping Address, Phone Number. Financial: Payment Details (processed securely by third-party vendor, never stored by NKAYLA). Web Usage: IP address, Browser Type, Pages Viewed (via Cookies/Analytics).


NKAYLA Partner (Reseller),
Purpose: To verify professional status, manage wholesale accounts, fulfill wholesale orders, and track sales performance. 
Types of Data Collected: Retail Data PLUS: Business Name, Business Address, Professional License Number, State of License, Business Tax ID/EIN, Wholesale Order History.


NKAYLA Ambassador (Top Promoter),
Purpose: To manage high-level partnerships, track commission/referral data, promote the Ambassador on the Salon Locator, and provide exclusive communications.
Types of data collected: Partner Data PLUS: Social Media Handles (Instagram/TikTok), Ambassador Profile Photo (for Salon Locator), Referral/Commission Payout Data.

II. How NKAYLA Uses the Data Collected

We use your data only for legitimate business purposes


Category of Use: Transaction & Fulfillment
Description: To process payment, ship products to the correct address, send order confirmations, and notify you of any shipping delays.
Applies to: All Customer Types


Category of Use: Account Management
Description: To create and maintain your online account, track loyalty points (Retail), and manage the restricted access to the Wholesale Portal (Partner/Ambassador).
Applies to:  All Customer Types


Category of Use: Verification & Compliance
Description: To manually verify the professional status (License Number, Business ID) of Partners and Ambassadors before approving wholesale access.
Applies to:  Partners & Ambassadors Only


Category of Use: Marketing & Communication
Description: To send product updates, promotional offers, and newsletters if you have provided explicit consent (Opt-In).
Applies to:  Retail, Partner (Opt-In)


Category of Use: Personalization
Description: To analyze website usage (pages viewed, time on site) to improve product offerings, website design, and marketing effectiveness.
Applies to: All Customer Types

III. Disclosure of Data

NKAYLA only shares your personal data with the minimum necessary parties to run the business:

  • Shipping Carriers (USPS, FedEx): Shared Name and Shipping Address for delivery.

  • Payment Processors (Stripe, PayPal): Shared Financial Data (e.g., credit card number) to securely authorize and process transactions. NKAYLA does not store or see full credit card numbers.

  • Wix Platform: Shared web usage data (e.g., IP address) for site analytics and functionality.

  • Public Display (Ambassadors Only): Ambassador Name, Business Name, and Salon Location are published on the NKAYLA Salon Locator to drive client traffic to their business.

IV. Data Protection and Security Measures

We implement robust security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

  1. Encryption: All sensitive financial and login data transmitted between your browser and our server is protected using SSL/TLS Encryption (HTTPS).

  2. Payment Security: Financial data (credit card numbers) is never stored on NKAYLA's servers. It is handled directly by PCI-Compliant third-party payment processors.

  3. Access Control: Access to Partner and Ambassador confidential data (Professional License Numbers) is strictly limited to authorized NKAYLA management personnel only, and is protected by two-factor authentication.

  4. Data Minimization: We only retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law.

V. Your Data Rights (GDPR/CCPA)

Regardless of your location, you have the right to:
